Today we venture into “The Deep Blue” with Bob Corbett while surrounded by the amazing murals by Trevor Dickinson in The Merewether Aquarium (pedestrian underpass). I wanted Bob, one half of the Music on the Spot team, to get in front of the camera sooner than later. For me (Peter), Music on the Spot is a showcase of the Newcastle music scene and the figures that form the rich music history and culture. Bob is a Novocastrian music icon, a staple in many a local, a multi-award winning musician, from the ABC Music Awards to the 2012 Toyota Star Maker, and one of my favourite songwriters.
